I saw this idea on a different blog linked to another blog I’d never seen before. The original design is from Mom & Wife. I like her outcome much more than mine because she put on her big girl panties and bought the same sized eggs. I needed to do something with last year’s eggs since my sly boys would know if the bunny recycled them
Uncle Dave and environmentalists may be proud…but…I think if you’d really want it to look PERDY, buy the same sized eggs
These are my pics below. I used a 40% off coupon from Michaels and got the wreath for about $3.00. The eggs were up-cycled and I already had the glue sticks and glue gun. I did buy the Oh-So-Tacky Easter grass for $1 at Michaels as well. Here she blows….(or hot glues…)
Grab your hot-glue gun and LOTS of sticks. ( I HIGHLY reccomend using a big ‘ol honkin glue gun. This flimsy thing gave me carpel tunnel. I was out of the jumbo glue sticks, and didn’t buy a new pack…mistake!)
Top’s done. I did the innards and outtards too. You could be Miss Over-Achiever 2012 and go all the way around and like hang it on your mailbox or something. Good for you!
Get some ‘Oh-So-Tacky’ cheap Easter grass and shove clumps of it into the spaces using hot glue and a pencil. This part is messy, but necessary.
I hung mine in the kitchen over the sink. I wanna look at the project that caused my carpel tunnel All. Day. Long ![]()
You could really get creative and dress it up with a bow or streaming ribbons down the bottom. Or what about a camo-themed egg wreath for the man in your life? The possibilities are end-less! Maybe I’ll make up a few variations and share ‘em. After my carpel tunnel surgery, of course!

You are hilarious, Liz! LOL! You made my night.
It looks great – I am definitely going to make this with my kids. They will have so much fun! P.S. Link it up – I LOVE it!!
AWWW! Ginny! Thank you
It’s so ironic…I as so frustrated I couldn’t get my Amazon post to work…I just decided to throw this together. I guess I was in a ‘funny’ mood! LOL. Just like you said…the posts you think aren’t worth nothin’…turn out to be the best ones!
I actually like it will the different sized eggs! I think it gives it variety and is super cute! Good job!
Thank you Sherry!!! I appreciate your sweetness and for stopping by!!! Blessings!
Very nice, I’m headed for my glue gun now….
